Terms of Service — Orbwright Grid

These terms are the agreement between you and Ingot Supply, LLC for your use of the Orbwright Grid app. By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app.

Who may use the app

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app only with a parent or guardian's involvement; they accept these terms for you and are responsible for any purchase made.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Orbwright Grid on devices you control, for your own use. We keep every right we do not expressly grant.

You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app, remove its notices, or reverse engineer it except where the law says that right cannot be taken away.

Your records are yours, and they are local

Everything you track stays in a private database on your device, as described in the privacy policy. We never receive it.

That has a consequence worth stating plainly: if you lose, reset or replace your phone without a backup, the history is gone, and we cannot recover it. Settings → Export backup writes a file you keep.

Pro, and how it is sold

Some features are sold as Pro. The purchase is processed by Google Play, under Google's terms. We never see or store your payment details.

Pro unlocks features in the app. It is a licence to use those features, not property you own, and it cannot be transferred to another person or account.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play under Play's refund policy — request them there first. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a digital purchase; by using Pro immediately you ask us to begin at once and accept that the right ends once we have. Nothing here removes a statutory right you cannot waive.

Changes to the app

We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop publishing the app. Where a paid feature is withdrawn entirely we will give reasonable notice through the app or its store listing where we practically can. Updates may be required for the app to keep working with current versions of Android.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app unlawfully, tamper with it or its stored data to unlock paid features, or redistribute a modified build.

Our rights in the app

The app, its code, artwork and name belong to us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost data or lost records. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Ending this agreement

You may end it at any time by uninstalling the app. We may end it if you breach these terms. The sections on our rights, warranties, liability and governing law survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws rules, and the courts of California have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, this does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of your own country's law, or of the right to bring proceedings there.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version is published at this address and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.
