Privacy Policy — Emberwright Rivals
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Emberwright Rivals is a single-player fantasy game. Your progress lives on your phone. This policy describes what stays there, the few things that leave it, and who receives them.
Short version
Your save — your champion, your gear, your stages, your settings — is stored on your device. The game has no server of its own in this version and uploads none of it.
The game asks once whether it may collect anonymous play data. Whatever you answer, this version has no analytics destination configured, so those events stay on your device and are discarded when the app closes.
Two things do reach other companies, both only around a purchase or a sign-in: Google, because purchases and optional sign-in go through Google Play, and Unity, whose in-app purchasing component reports each completed purchase to Unity.
Who we are
Emberwright Rivals is made and operated by Ingot Supply, LLC, 2108 N St, Sacramento, CA 95816, United States. Questions about this policy or about your data: support@ingotsupply.com.
What the game stores on your device
- Your champion's name, level, power, gear, heroes, currencies and stage progress
- Your settings: volume, haptics, damage numbers, auto-aim, quality, language
- Your answer to the analytics question, so you are not asked twice
- Which purchases have been granted, so a purchase is never granted twice
The save is signed with a key derived on your device, which is how the game detects a file that has been edited or restored from another phone. Nothing in it is uploaded by this version of the game.
The analytics question
On first launch the game asks whether it may collect anonymous play data — which stages are too hard, what people buy, where the game runs badly. It never records your name, your messages or your contacts, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings.
In this version, answering yes changes nothing that leaves your phone. No analytics service is connected to the game, so the events are written to a buffer in memory and go nowhere. If that ever changes, this page and the app's data-safety declaration on Google Play will be updated before the first event is sent, and you will still be asked first.
Signing in with Google Play Games
Signing in is optional and the game is complete without it. If you sign in, Google tells the game a player identifier for your Play Games account, and the game uses it to keep your purchases attached to you and — when the feature is switched on — to carry your progress to a new phone. Your Google password is never seen by the game. Google's handling of Play Games data is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Purchases
Purchases are made through the Google Play Store app on your phone. We never see your card, your billing address or your Google account password. Google tells the game only that a purchase succeeded and what was bought.
The game sends Google an obfuscated account identifier with each purchase — a one-way hash of your in-game player id, not your name or your email — which is what Google recommends so that a purchase can be matched to the account that made it.
What Unity receives
The game is built with Unity, and Unity's in-app purchasing component reports each completed purchase to Unity's own servers. This happens inside that component; it is not something the game asks for, and the analytics question above does not govern it. Read from the component's source, each report carries the product bought, its price, currency and quantity, Google Play's transaction identifier, the app's identifier, version and install time, the device model, operating system version, language and storage size, and identifiers Unity generates for the installation and the session. It does not carry your name, your email or your advertising identifier — the game never asks for the advertising identifier, and the app does not request the permission that would make one available. Unity's handling of what it receives is covered by Unity's privacy policy.
What is never sent
- Your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or files
- Your location
- Your advertising identifier — the app does not request it, and there are no adverts
- The contents of your save, in this version
Permissions
The app requests internet access, network state, vibration for haptics, and Google Play billing. It asks for no other permission.
How long things are kept
Your save stays on your device until you delete it in Settings or uninstall the app. Purchase records held by Google and by Unity are kept under their own policies, linked above. We keep an email you send us for as long as it takes to answer you, and no longer than twelve months after that.
Your choices
- Analytics: change your answer at any time in Settings.
- Sign-in: optional, and you can play without it.
- Delete everything: Settings has a Delete Account button that erases the save on the device. Uninstalling the app removes it as well.
- Ask us: write to support@ingotsupply.com and we will answer any request about your data.
Children
Emberwright Rivals is not directed at children under 13, and it is not distributed through Google Play's Designed for Families programme. It contains fantasy violence and optional purchases.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version is published at this address and the date at the top changes with it.
